AberZombies Meet Their Match
As readers of lemonwade may be starting to understand, we try to maintain this website with a modicum of decency. But every once in a while, decency has to go by the boards. To wit: the massive prank that the guys over at Improv Everywhere pulled off the other day at Abercrombie & Fitch’s flagship store on Fifth Avenue in New York. That emporium, like many in the chain, has a shirtless dude at the entrance as window un-dressing, not exactly standing guard (these guys, despite their chiseled abs, generally look as if they’d cry if you criticized their hair product) but setting the tone for the brand. Anyway, Improv gathered more than 100 guys to visit the store and, at the same moment, remove their shirts and continue shopping. A combination of hilarity and awkwardness followed. Eventually, this posse of the buff and the bearish (observe the photo here: guess which one is the real A & F employee) was shown the door. For a video of the happening, click here.
That is hysterical! I wish I’d been in the store to see it.
