Ms. Dunst To Play Ms. Harry
Deborah Harry (right) has given her blessing for Kirsten Dunst (left) to play the Blondie frontwoman (that’s Miss Harry to mere mortals) in an upcoming, Michel Gondry-directed Blondie biopic. Despite the message-board protests to Dunst’s casting, Harry insists Dunst is a “sweetie” who is “probably capable†of filling her new-wave shoes. It’s easier to see Dunst wearing Harry’s ’70s Doc Martens than it was to see Dunst wearing the gold slippers of last year’s “Marie Antoinette.”
